Specter 3

Speed TrainerReleased 2026-07US

Specter 3 is Topo Athletic's max-cushioned neutral Pro Series trainer for tempo sessions, intervals, and fast long runs. Its overhaul introduces a lighter full-length RevFoam ATPU midsole, ATPU insole, and redesigned rocker for quicker toe-off. Thicker rubber improves durability and stability, while recycled mesh maintains a roomy toe box with secure midfoot and heel hold.

Weight measurement and plate details
Weight note
Topo Athletic US official product page lists 7.7 oz for men's M9. The gram value is an approximate conversion from the official ounce value.
Plate note
The exact official US product content provides a complete construction description covering the full-length RevFoam ATPU midsole, ATPU insole, rocker geometry, rubber outsole, and upper. Exact REI and Running Warehouse pages corroborate that construction without identifying a carbon structure, so carbon_plate is classified as false.
